Preparing Christmas Drinks with Thermos® Products

If you're having a large crowd over for the holidays, and want to find some recipes for great drinks to make for your family and friends this holiday season, look no further. Here are some quick drinks that you can prepare for your guests that they're sure to love-and you will too, since you won't be stuck in the kitchen all day. These drinks are also easy to make and serve in Thermos® products, so if you're traveling to someone else's home for the holiday season, you can take your contribution to the holiday party with you.

Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon apple juice
  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 8 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle 190 proof grain alcohol

    Directions
    In a large pot, combine apple juice, apple cider, sugar and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool completely. When juice mixture is cool, Stir in the grain alcohol.

     

    Amaretto Fudge Cappuccino

    Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon TASTER'S CHOICE® 100% Pure Instant Coffee
  • 2 tablespoons Amaretto Flavor NESTLE® CARNATION® COFFEE-MATE® Liquid or Powdered Coffee Creamer
  • 1 tablespoon Chocolate Flavor NESTLE® NESQUIK™ Syrup
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)

    Directions
    Combine water and Taster's Choice® in large mug; stir until coffee is dissolved. Stir in Coffee-mate® and Nestle® Nesquik™. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

    Billy's Favorite Gingerbread Spiced Coffee Syrup

    Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger root, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken into large pieces
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole allspice berries
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    Directions
    In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine water, sugar, and honey. Stir in ginger, cinnamon stick, cloves, allspice, peppercorns, and nutmeg; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool for 20 minutes, then strain through a fine mesh sieve, or double layer cheesecloth.
